Our story
In 1956, James W. Peacock bought a small aerospace company. With three machines, he began small-quantity jobs until he secured long-term contracts for manufacturing aerospace components.
His son, Tom Peacock, started in the shop at age twelve, learning machining and customer relationships side by side, directly from his father. That apprenticeship became the model for how Peacock has trained every generation of machinists since.
Within twenty years, the crew had grown, the building had been expanded, and a second building was added. Today, Peacock is a third-generation, family-owned shop, still in Spring Valley, still building the components that carry great missions.
